| It is a versatile, economic building board substitute of plywood, cement-bonded particle board, gypsum boards or magnesium boards. SOBEN Board is an autoclaved fiber cement reinforced calcium silicate board. This is specially designed for use in applications where impact resistance is required in a high humid environment. It is light weight, robust and moisture resistant. It will not warp, swell or decay in wet area. 12mm • 1220X2440X6MM • Soben 12mm is also an ideal building board for use in constructions where there is a need for resistance to damp or high humidity. It contains no water soluble additives and will not rot, degrade or deteriorate. Itwill absorb water causing some loss of strength, which is fully recovered on drying. Any staining on the board caused by leakage can be easily painted over. Moisture will not cause leaching or efflorescence and has no permanent effect on the board. It is classified as non-combustible when tested in accordance with BS 476: Part 4, BS EN ISO 1182 and GB8624: Grade A. Many fire resistant constructions such as wall, ceiling, duct, protected shaft or cavity barrier had used . Soben 12mm as the core element. As revealed from the tests, . 100mm • 1220X2440X6MM •WeatherPan® is a prefabricated sandwich panel designed for external and internal non load-bearing partition applications. Its weight is only 1/5 to 1/7 of traditional 120mm block wall, which greatly reduce the foundation costs and transportation costs and is suitable for fast track construction techniques with simple erection. The panel is easy to install and no skilled labour is required. On average, an experienced labour can install 25m2 panels per day which is 15 times quicker than traditional block wall erection. WeatherPan® is designed with tongue and groove jointing systems for easy assembly. The panel provides exceptional dimensional stability and an unrivaled resistance to movement due to effects of moisture or heat. When subject to fire attack above 1200oC, the panel wall provides fire resistance up to 3.5 hours without loosing integrity and insulation and will not emit toxic gas.
